SUMMARY:High School Chemistry Olympiad
DESCRIPTION:The U.S. National Chemistry Olympiad is a multi-tiered competition designed to stimulate and promote achievement in high school chemistry. It is sponsored by the American Chemical Society. Each year, four students are chosen to represent the USA in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) ( http://www.iuventa.sk/en/Subpages/ICHO/ICHO.alej ), which is hosted every year in July in one of the participating countries.\nIn light of the continued uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the possibility that reopening may not be uniform across the Nation, both the Local Section and National Exams will be offered virtually in 2021. The laboratory portion of the National Exam will be omitted again this year.\n
